Tecno Camon CX Display Review

At 5.5 inches, the phablet has a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920, which really is what we should expect from all Tecno phones in Kenya in 2017.

I usually prefer phone around the 5-inch mark, but in the recent times, 5.5 inches display size has slowly started creeping into my liking.

This is one of the chief focus of the Tecno CX phone.

What I like most about Tecno is the constant improvements and innovations year by year. The smartphone has a 16 megapixels dual camera as the primary. Not only does this help in taking sharper images with more depth of field, but also enable the device have the ability for a physical zoom.

Talking about the selfie camera, it also comes in at 16MP. The only difference being that it is not dual camera. The good thing, it will still take impressive photos.

To add to that the, CX in Kenya has a dual LED Flash for both the front facing and the back camera.

Which means, taking photos in low light conditions won’t actually lead to a “grainy snap”.

Performance

I will talk about the limitations of the phone first. I really feel like the Tecno Camon CX should have at least had 3GB of RAM. Although the 2GB it has is still appropriate for almost all tasks, having the extra ensures that a smoother experience results.

Since the phone runs Android Nougat 7.0, there are some improvements that comes with it. These include improved battery life, enhanced security, improved UI and experience.

With a 2.0GHz Octa Core Mediatek Helio P10 chipset, expect app launches to be fast on Tecno Camon CX. In Kenya, people have come to learn the importance of having performance phones, The CX from Tecno does not disappoint in this sector.
