Having been released in May 2016 by Samsung, the C7 is one of the few phones in Kenya that you can have confidence removing from your pockets in front of friends.
The specifications, on paper are top notch. Does it perform similarly in a real world review, Find out below.
Samsung Galaxy C7 Performance.
The ram alone is 4GB, this speaks a lot about the phones performance.
Having more ram is directly proportional to the performance of the phone, (all other factors constant).
With this much, switching between apps is snappy and playing games is a good experience since there is virtually no lag.
The Adreno Graphics processing unit also contributes to the performance of the phone.
What are the internal memory choices?
Two options exist. A 32GB and 64GB choice. First, the 32GB option is appropriate for the average user.
By average we are referring to someone who will occasionally take photographs and videos. In my own experience, normal people don’t usually fill up that much space. Downloading very large games will however lead to the phone filling up quickly.
The second choice is the one with 64GB of memory capacity. This choice is for power users who take joy in taking multiple photos.
Also if downloading several games that are large in size is your thing, you should easily settle for this. Otherwise buy this also if you like having the best of everything.
What is the expected performance of the battery?
At 3300 mAh, this device can last a full day without requiring a recharge.
The minimum right now for android devices should be 3000mAh.
In my own experience, having less than that leads to you being unnecessarily uncomfortable.
I hate having to look for a device charger in the middle of the day, if you are like me, this phone suits you well.
The biggest advantage of this device is the fast charge choice available. This thing goes from 0 to 83 percent in 30 minutes.
With this option, you don’t have to charge the phone the whole night. When you wake up, just plug it in and by the time you leave the house, the phone will have enough juice to last you through the day.
Having a removable battery is of no use when your device has fast charge.
How is the camera quality?
To get this off the way, the primary camera is 16MP while the front facing one is 8MP. The dual tone flash in it ensures that the cameras taken are of good quality even in poor lighting conditions.
Having this much megapixels in both the front and back camera has its advantages. First, this allows more information to be stored in the photo. For those interested in photography, this phone can easily serve you well on the go.
Is the screen quality any good?
I honestly think that this question should never be asked for any Samsung phone. the company has consistently produced stunning displays. Not only for the phones they make, but also for all other devices they produce.
At 1080 x 1920 pixels the resolution of the screen is one of those that will blow you away. The display is vivid with a good color representation. With a pixel density of ~386 ppi, even while looking closely at the screen you will not notice any pixels whatsoever. The screen is super Amoled, so you know what am talking about.
The display comes in at 5.7 inches which is quite appropriate for those who desire large phone screens.
