What is the difference between Infinix S2 Pro, Tecno Camon CX and Tecno Camon CX Air?
Making a choice between the three smartphones might be hard, considering that they were all released almost at the same time.

Display
Speaking of the display, both phones from Tecno, come with a 5.5 inch display while the Infinix S2 comes with a 5.2 inch display.
The choice here, will largely depend on your personal preference. Some people prefer larger phone while others are comfortable using 5 inch ones. There is an argument that, smaller phones are more comfortable to use.
However, if you consume media on your device, you will find that a larger display is more appropriate.
Speaking of the resolution, both the S2 Pro and the CX Air come with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Here, the S2 has an advantage over the Tecno Camon CX AIR. This is because, with a smaller display, you get more pixels per density and therefore a crisper display.
Operating System Comparison.
Currently, both Tecno phones come with Android v7.0 Nougat. However, the Infinix S2 Pro comes with Android Version 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
With Nougat, there is improved performance and better battery management. Also, you get updated security and a refined user interface.
Infinix however, have plans to offer an Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Infinix S2 Pro before the year ends.
RAM
With the S2 Pro, you get 3GB of RAM while both the normal CX and the Air version only come with 2GB. So, the winner in this category is pretty obvious. However, some people will argue that android is optimized even with only 2GB of RAM. And that there is no noticeable difference.
Camera
From my personal experience with the previous phones from both manufacturers, I would say that Tecno have a slight edge when it comes to camera quality. But, when it comes to the selfie/welfie camera, the Infinix S2 pro has a clear advantage.
With it, you get a dual lens camera. One for taking wide angle shots and a normal one. This dual camera setup has both a 13MP lens and an 8MP lens. In the Camon CX Air, you get 13MP just like in the normal CX version.
In the rear facing camera, the CX has advantage over the CX Air and S2 Pro. Unlike the two, it comes with 16MP.
Battery Capacity
Both Tecno versions come with 3200mAh battery.
The Infinix S2 Pro comes with only 3000mAh battery.
However, the screen of the Tecno devices are larger, which means they will consume more charge. Another twist, Android 7.0 Nougat is more efficient in charge consumption compared to 6.0 Marshmallow. I would give all of them a tie here.
Price Comparison
When you look at the three, the price difference is roughly KSh. 1000.
Tecno Camon CX Air Vs Infinix S2 Pro VS Tecno Camon CX Comparison Verdict
If you are a selfie person, you should definitely go for the S2 Pro because of the wide angle lens.
If you are on a tight budget, then buy the Tecno Camon CX Air.
My personal choice would be the Tecno Camon CX. This is because it has the best display quality when compared to the rest. I also love the design of the device compared to the Infinix one.
